I’ve always been fascinated by maps and find it both crazy and wonderful that mapping the world is still a work in progress. I attended an OpenStreetMap NYC workshop this weekend and made my first contribution - South Oxford Park, a park I stumbled upon in my neighborhood just last week. Thanks to @lxbarth and @ian_villeda from MapBox for showing me the ropes (and teaching me about cool stuff like underwater mapping and animal migration paths!).
